CedarCreek Estate Winery has claimed the title of ‘Canada’s Winery of the Year’ at the 2019 InterVin International Wine Awards. This is the third Winery of the Year title for CedarCreek at the InterVin Awards that recognize and celebrate the very best wines available to consumers in Canada. With more that 1,100 wines entered in the competition, CedarCreek won a total of 15 medals, including Gold Medals for the 2018 Platinum Block 3 Riesling and the 2017 Platinum Haynes Creek Syrah.
CedarCreek also had a big win at the Canberra International Riesling Challenge in Australia, winning the esteemed Wolf Blass Trophy for ‘World’s Best Semi-Dry Riesling’ with a score of 97 points for their 2018 Estate Riesling – topping its category and beating out more than 500 Riesling wines entered from nine countries.
